The traditional New Mexican Chile Verde Stew recipe with green chile, potatoes, tomatoes, and all the other spices necessary; as easy as boiling water to prepare. Just put this flavorful mix and your choice of meat into a pot of boiling water and 40-45 minutes later you have 3 quarts of stew. Honestly, it is that simple! Available in Original(medium) and Mild. Makes a great meal when served with our Green Chile Cornbread.

It’s delicious but hotter/spicier than I am able to eat. I added some tomato paste, lemon juice, and white wine vinegar to tame it! Didn’t completely fix but it was tolerable! I’m surprised because green chilies aren’t that hot. Well, it’s very good anyway.

The Chile Verde Stew is fantastic with pork. My husband is putting the pork plus item in the stew bag in a tortilla and is addicted. I love the gentle heat as you eat it. Omygosh its so delicous.
